The 60's Jouko Nuora was born on Santa Lucia“s day, December 13, 1963. At the age of 5 he was a huge Batman and Boy Wonder freak (Anyone else, hands up?...Oh, so many), but only a year later the cowboy lifestyle had stolen his heart.
	The 70's - 80's 1978: The legendary rock band "Jamming Shit" was formed in a shady cellar. After strenuous rehearsing, Jamming Shit made their first public appearance on the stage of Haukilahti High School in 1981. The full-blast noise they managed to create had the audience running out of the "venue", scared shitless. 1982: Actually managed to graduate from high schol - how and why is still a complete mystery for him. Rauno Rotta, Nuora“s first ink & brush cartoon was born at the time, too. 1982-1987: Between the Jamming Shit gigs around Southern Finland, Nuora worked as a bartender, bingo, cleaner, mailman, construction site worker, stage builder and a scaffolder. Travel around the Western world as a vagabundo. Living on the streets (and playing the blues) in New York, Madrid and London, Nuora“s first exhibition took place in Puerto Marbella, Spain 1986. 1988: Rauno Rotta, Nuora“s first and most precious child was published. The rest of the decade was spent travelling the inner and outer space.
	The 90's 1992-93:Comics art exhibition at Imamin Keinutuoli Gallery, Helsinki. The feeling that there“s something going on with those drawings slowly starts creeping in. Quits all the (shitty) daytime jobs. Jamming Shit play their notorious reunion gig. 1994-1995 :Discovers that being a full-time illustrator means a lot of work. Posters, logos, caricatures, advertisements...Goes to the USA to chill out in 1995, drawing inspiration from Route 66, Grand Canyon, Baja Mexico, Las Vegas and Arizonian bars and stars. Jamming Shit record a half live album in South Africa. Becomes a founding member of Finnish Comic Artist Society. 1996-1997:Exhibitions at various galleries in Helsinki (for example BE'19 galleria). 1998-1999:Nani, Cowgirl is published in 1998. Exhibitions in Turku and Helsinki. Started doing sketches for Nani 2 with little help from some fine lil'gal from metal and rubber studio in Helsinki. Nani Cowgirl was sold out, SORRY!!!
	The 2000 - 2000:Quit's smoking. 2001:Hopefully Nani 2 shall be relased at December the 13th in Helsinki.Started smoking again
