Graphic novels and comic strips are without a doubt the work Jouko Nuora is best known for, at least in the eyes of the Finnish mainstream. Readers of many different magazines have had the pleasure of experiencing Nuora's uniquely realistic and, accordingly, extremely satirical style. With the publishing of Nani Cowgirl, Nuora has also established a wide readership among the comics scene, receiving due recognition.
